Fall Fun in Kennedale

ZP5F0531Hooray for fall! The weather is finally perfect for grabbing your ghosts and goblins and enjoying one of the many family-friendly activities going on in and around the city this month. We’ve compiled a list for you to save and share, let us know if you have one to add!

Saturday, Oct 1st, 10am-3pm
Lord’s Acre Fall Festival
Lord’s Acre is a community event hosted by First United Methodist Church of Kennedale with fun for the entire family. Food cooked on site be BSA Troop 35, and great fellowship, live auction, live on stage DJCP from Fishbowl Radio Network, chance auction, country store, sweet shop, games and rides for the kids and hand made quilts!

Tuesday, Oct 4th, 5:30-7:30pm
Kennedale Chamber Halloween Party
Enjoy food, drinks, games, and even a costume contest while networking and visiting with friends and area business professionals. Open to the public and free to attend, please bring a friend and share the fun!

Saturday, Oct 8th , 10am-12pm
Kennedale Public Safety Open House
Visit the Kennedale Fire Station to  enjoy free Hotdogs & Drinks, Bounce House, watch a Vehicle Extrication and PHI Helicopter Landing, get information on Animal Control, Fire & Crime Prevention, and Firearms Safety, and receive Free Vehicle VIN Etching by the Tri-County Auto Theft Task Force

Thursday, Oct 20th, 10am-4pm
McDonald’s Grand Opening
Join us for the grand opening of McDonald’s, featuring a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony,  visit from Ronald McDonald, Kennedale Junior High School Performance, Free Snack Packs & Giveaways and the first fifty students receive school supply bag!

Saturday, October 22nd, 5-9pm
Trunk or Treat & Pumpkin Palooza!
TownCenter Trunk-or-Treat is back, and it’s bigger and better this year! The Library has added their Pumpkin Palooza, the Senior Center is hosting a craft fair, and YAC has added chalk art in the park. There’s something for all ages, including trunk or treating from TONS of local businesses and organizations and a halloween movie in the Library, all free for the community!  See link for full schedule and details on how to get involved!

Friday, October 28th, 6-9pm
City of Mansfield Boo Bash
Boo Bash is the Mansfield Activities Center’s annual carnival-style Halloween event.  Kids and families can dress in their best costumes and play games, win candy & prizes, enjoy a hay ride, make s’mores, enjoy crafts, and more!

Sunday, Oct 30th, 1-4pm
Emerald Hills Fall Festival
Emerald Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park for the 2nd year in a row will host a fall festival Free to the public, with pumpkin painting, face painting, photo booth, petting zoo, bounce house, costume contest, appearances by the Kennedale Police and Fire Department and other activities to get everyone into the Fall Spirit. Other community organizations and businesses are welcome to set up a booth and join in, contact Emerald Hills for more details.
